Vancouver police say a man has been arrested in connection with two alleged sexual assaults in the city.
The VPD, in partnership with Metro Vancouver Transit Police, says the first incident was reported this summer, on July 6 around 7:30 p.m. A woman who was on the escalator at the Granville SkyTrain Station reported that she had been sexually assaulted by someone, who ran away.
A second incident was reported the next day, this time in the area of West Broadway and Ash Street. In this case, a 38-year-old woman reported just before 2 p.m. that she was also assaulted.
Bryce Michael Flores-Bebington, 19, is facing two counts of sexual assault in relation to these investigations. Vancouver police say he was arrested by officers the morning of Oct. 13.
He is due in court Thursday.
