Top-5 most wanted criminals in Metro Vancouver

Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers has shared its list of B.C.’s top five most wanted criminals.
Crime Stoppers Executive Director Linda Annis says number one on the list is Rabih Alkhalil. He is wanted for murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and being unlawfully at large.
“He’s wanted for murder, there is a $250,000 reward through the Bolo Program,” she said. “If you have information about him, in addition to that [reward], $5,000 coming to you from Crime Stoppers if your tip is anonymous.”
Others on the list include Amardip Singh Rai, who is wanted for sexual assault, assault with a weapon, and 15 other charges.
John Norman Mackenzie is wanted for being unlawfully at large, convicted of second-degree murder and armed robbery.
Timothy Dale Bornyk is wanted for assault with a weapon, while Ricco Zanolli is wanted for being unlawfully at large, assault causing bodily harm, and assault with a weapon.

Annis says all of the people on the list are a danger to the public. She is asking people to keep their distance.
“Somewhere, someplace, someone knows something… and we are appealing to people today to come forward either to the police or to Crime Stoppers if you have any information,” she said.
Crime Stoppers receives more than 5,000 tips each year, Annis says, adding over 8,500 people have been arrested as a result.
