A recall has been issued for two brands of chocolate because they contain milk not listed on the label.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the chocolate ginger truffles from Bliss Balls and Everland’s chocolate hazelnuts were sold in Alberta and British Columbia.
The Bliss Balls were sold in 285g packages with a best-before date of Mar. 30, 2023.
The Everland product was sold in 113g packages, with a best-before date of Sept. 30, 2023.
There have been no reports of any illnesses linked to the products.
Customers are being told to either throw the chocolates out or return them to the store where they were purchased.
