As the Lower Mainland deals with the aftermath of a wind storm that left thousands without power, a snowfall warning has been issued for Metro Vancouver and Howe Sound.
Environment and Climate Change Canada says a system will bring rain that could turn into snow Saturday night into Sunday morning.

“Locations near sea level may start to see wet snow, but any accumulation will likely be at locations above 100 metres in elevation,” the weather agency said.
ECCC says between 5 cm and 10 cm of snow could accumulate in those areas, with most of it expected to be cleared by rain on Sunday.
“Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions,” the weather agency advises. “If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.”
