One dead after two-vehicle crash in Vancouver

Vancouver police say an 88-year-old man has died after a two-vehicle collision near the Marpole neighbourhood Saturday evening.

The VPD says officers were called to an incident near Oak Street and 59th Avenue, near Oak Park, just before 6 p.m. for a crash between a Honda Accord and Toyota Corolla.
Police say the driver of the Toyota died at the scene. One other person was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, police added.
