Dog stolen in Burnaby break-in: RCMP

Mounties in Burnaby say a dog was stolen as part of a break-and-enter in the city earlier in the week.
Burnaby RCMP says officers responded Wednesday to reports of a break-in and stolen dog at a home on Patrick Street near Macpherson Avenue.

Police say the dog, named “Bouncer”, was last seen in a heated garage on Wednesday evening. Investigators believe sometime between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. that night, someone broke into the garage and took Bouncer, along with the dog’s blanket.
Bouncer is described as a black and white terrier, 10 years old, about 15 pounds, and wearing a white collar.

Cpl. Mike Kalanj is hoping to hear from the public so Mounties can find Bouncer.
“We would like nothing more than to reunite Bouncer with his family,” he said.
