One person shot in Richmond on Christmas Eve, suspect arrested: RCMP

One person has been arrested after another individual was shot at a home in Richmond on Christmas eve.

BC RCMP told CityNews the incident happened around 4 p.m. on Saturday.

B.C. Emergency Health Services said the victim was taken to Vancouver General Hospital and is in serious condition.

Police said the two people involved appeared to know each other and that the shooting was not related to gang conflict.

Investigators said no other additional details are available and an investigation is ongoing.
