Surrey to Langley SkyTrain plans take another step forward

The B.C. Government has invited two bidding teams to design, build, and finance the Surrey Langley SkyTrain.

The proposed Surrey-Langley SkyTrain project would extend the Expo Line by 16 kilometres from King George Skytrain Station to Langley City, primarily along the Fraser Highway.

The initial request for qualifications was posted through BC Bid and closed on Nov. 1, 2022. The two teams making it to this point, the request for proposals (RFP) stage, and submitting plans are South Fraser Guideway Connectors and SkyLink Guideway Partners.
