Canadian singer Michael Bublé and lululemon founder Chip Wilson are owners of some of the most valuable properties in the Lower Mainland.
BC Assessment released its annual list of homes in the province with the highest projected values, based on assessment value, as of July 2022.
Michael Bublé holds the title of owning the most valuable home in Burnaby, ranked 38th in the Lower Mainland. The crooner’s acreage on Government Road has an estimated value of $25,529,000 — an increase of just under $2 million from 2022, where he sat 44th on the top 100 list.

Bublé’s property has over 100,000 square feet of land, on which a two-storey, seven-bedroom, 15-bathroom mansion is located. The home was built in 2015.
Meanwhile, lululemon athletica founder Chip Wilson has retained the title of owning the most valuable home in B.C. His home in Kitsilano, along Point Grey Road, has an estimated 2023 value of $74,089,000 — an increase of just under $1 million from last year.
Wilson’s two-storey home has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms with over 5,600 square feet on its first floor. Wilson has an estimated net worth of $5.6 billion.
Most other homes on the top 100 list saw value increases in the range of $1 million to $2 million over the past year. The second, third, and fourth most-valuable homes in Metro Vancouver are all in the Point Grey neighbourhood along Belmont Avenue.

On the North Shore, West Vancouver’s highest-valued property is on Radcliffe Avenue, worth an estimated $33.2 million. The highest-valued property in Whistler is the 12th on the top 100 list for the region, sitting at $32.9 million.
All of the properties on the top 100 list are located in Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, or Whistler.
According to BC Assessment, the total value of real estate estimates in B.C. in 2023 is 12 per cent higher than in 2022. However, an expert warns that because those assessments were made in July of last year, they may not be accurate when it comes time to sell this year.
