Granville Street shooting sends one to hospital: Vancouver police

One person has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Vancouver’s Granville Entertainment District Tuesday night.

Police say it happened just after 10 p.m. in the area of Granville and Nelson streets. Investigators note the 32-year-old victim was standing in the area when shots rang out.

No arrests have been made in connection with this shooting, and it’s unclear what led to the incident.

Vancouver police are asking anyone with information to call 604.717.2541.
