ICBC cancels Wednesday knowledge tests due to technical problems

Prospective drivers looking to take their knowledge test at ICBC Wednesday will have to wait a little while longer as the province’s auto insurer says all the tests have been cancelled for the day.

In a tweet from ICBC on Wednesday morning, the group says it is facing an issue with the machines used for the “L” multiple-choice exam, the first step in prepping learners before getting behind the wheel.

All the tests for the day are being cancelled, with the insurer adding that affected customers will be contacted to re-schedule appointments.

The auto insurer says it is working to fix the problem.
