Highway 5 crash leaves 3 dead, 2 seriously hurt

The BC Highway Patrol says three people are dead, and two others are in critical condition after a multi-vehicle crash near Clearwater.

Officials note that the crash happened on Highway 5 Wednesday morning around 11 a.m.

It says the stretch of highway between Clearwater and Little Fort will be closed for a few hours.

Officials are asking anyone with information or dash-cam footage to call the Kamloops BC Highway Patrol.
