The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure says the 192nd Street off-ramp on Highway 1 in Surrey should be opening soon.
The ministry says the overpass is undergoing repair work and is in its final stages.
“Reopening is expected later this month after work has been inspected and the site has been deemed safe for traffic again,” the statement read.

The ramp was closed in July 2022 when a flatbed truck towing an excavator ran into it. Two people were injured in the crash.
The BC Trucking Association has previously called on the province to have more transparency about incidents where large vehicles hit public infrastructures after a series of similar incidents.
Since then, the overpass has been opened to one lane but the off-ramp has been closed.
