For the first time in three years, you can treat yourself to a scenic hike on the Quarry Rock Trail in Deep Cove.
The District of North Vancouver says the Quarry Rock Trail has finally reopened after being closed since 2020.
The trail was first closed in March 2020 over concerns around social distancing. The closure was extended into 2021 as the district worked on a storm sewer project. Then the atmospheric rivers in November of 2021 severely damaged the park.

The District says crews have now completed repairs on bridges and stairs, meaning it’s now safe to welcome the public back.
Commuters can also access the trail using public transit.
