Edmonton police confirm funeral date for fallen officers

The funeral details for Constables Travis Jordan and Brett Ryan — two Edmonton police officers killed in the line of duty on March 16 — have been confirmed by police.
EPS says they are still working with the families to finalize the details of the event, including the funeral procession, but the time and location are confirmed.
A regimental funeral and celebration of the officers’ lives will happen on Monday, March 27, at 1 p.m. at Rogers Place.

EPS also noted that the officers will be moved from the Edmonton Medical Examiner’s office to Serenity Funeral Home around noon on March 21, where they will remain until the funeral day.
The procession will travel along the following roads:
- 116 Street NW
- East on Belgravia Rd/71 Ave NW
- South on 113 St
- East on 61 Ave NW
- South on 91 St
- East on 58 Ave NW
- South on 90 St
- East on 56 Ave NW
- South on 89 St
- 91 Street NW
Edmontonians wishing to share their support can do so by lining up along the procession route.
