Vancouver police arrest suspect after 4 fires

Police in Vancouver say a man is facing multiple charges in connection with four fires investigators believe were “deliberately” set in the city’s downtown core.

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) says the fires were set overnight Monday into Tuesday.

Police say investigators believe one person was behind all four fires.

Curtis Rabochenko, 51, has been charged with four counts of arson causing damage to property.

He is in custody until his next court appearance, police say.
