Kelowna pedestrian dead after parking lot collision: RCMP

Mounties in Kelowna say an 82-year-old pedestrian is dead after she was struck by a pick-up truck Monday morning.
The West Kelowna RCMP says the incident happened near the area of Louie Drive and Elk Road around 11 a.m.
Police say the senior was walking in a parking lot when she was hit.
The driver of the vehicle stayed behind and is cooperating with police, the RCMP notes.
