B.C. man fined for poaching white-tailed deer: BCCOS

A B.C. man is facing a $3,000 fine and cannot hunt for two years after he was found to have poached two white-tailed deer, according to the BC Conservation Officer Service (BCCOS).
In a tweet, the service says officers received a call in 2021 to its Report All Poachers and Polluters line.t.co/ESvw3YRNue
The investigation determined the individual was over his provincial bag limit and did not cancel his species licence. His firearm was also seized.

It says the carcasses of two deer were found with gunshot wounds in a field near Fort St. James.
“The investigation determined the individual was over his provincial bag limit and did not cancel his species licence,” the tweet reads.
The BCCOS says Lian Qin was found guilty of unlawful possession of dead wildlife and failing to retrieve wildlife.
