Surrey’s Cloverdale Rodeo and County Fair kicks off

It’s time to dust off your cowboy hat and boots as the Cloverdale Rodeo and County Fair continues over the long weekend.

Saturday morning also saw dozens of spectators turn up for the 75th Annual Rodeo Parade which made its way along Surrey’s streets.

Thousands of people are expected to turn up for the main events — the rodeo performances — where nearly 100 of “the world’s best cowboys and cowgirls” are set to participate and compete in events that include bull riding, barrel racing, and saddle bronc riding.

On top of the rodeo, the Country Fair portion of the weekend boasts a variety of events.

Events range from watching a lumberjack show to listening to bands and artists perform at the CR Corrall Stage.
