Highway 99 reopens NB after crash at Highway 17

A crash just before Highway 17 had the northbound lanes of Highway 99 blocked for parts of Friday afternoon, the lanes have since reopened.
Traffic was unable to get to the Massey Tunnel northbound. There had also been an incident near Ladner Trunk Road.

According to a tweet from DriveBC, Highway 17A has since fully reopened in both directions.

Delta Police Acting Inspector and Public Affairs Manager James Sandberg says police were called in to help direct traffic around 4 p.m., and tells CityNews the collision happened in a thru-lane heading to the Massey Tunnel.
