Surrey RCMP investigating ‘target shooting’ at rural property

Mounties in Surrey say they were called to a “rural property for the possible use of firearms” Thursday evening.
Police say their “current understanding” is that the people living at the home were target shooting with guns they legally own.
Callers told CityNews that over 20 police vehicles were seen congregating at a house on Highway 15 near 80th Avenue, and several officers were seen with guns drawn.
The Surrey RCMP says it is still in the early stages of the investigation.
