They say 42-year-old Sgt. David Vunic secured the win at the games in Winnipeg last week.

This appears to have been a natural progression for Vunic as well, as Westshore RCMP says he started with the detachment’s bike patrol.
His recent win at the Games comes following his participation in the BC Bike Race, an international event that spanned over 7 days across B.C.
Vunic ranked 27th amongst 600 riders from all over the world.
