Police search for North Vancouver driver spotted on wrong side of road

Mounties in North Vancouver are searching for a driver that was reported to have been travelling the wrong way on Highway 1 on Wednesday.

According to the RCMP, witnesses reported seeing the grey or silver on the wrong side of the highway near the Main Street exit around 5:15 a.m.

Police say the vehicle narrowly avoided head-on collisions with two others, which ended up crashing after swerving away.

The North Vancouver RCMP is appealing to the public to help identify the driver, the vehicle, and any other witnesses.

Police describe the driver as male, with a silver or grey-coloured vehicle last seen near the Lynn Valley exit on Highway 1.
