City of Vancouver schedules closing days for outdoor pools

Hot summer days next to the pool are clearly coming to an end, and the City of Vancouver is taking that cue by setting dates to close its outdoor pools.

According to an announcement made on Tuesday, the bulk of outdoor pools across the city are scheduled to close on Sept. 4, giving some locals less than a week to take one last dip in their neighbourhood pool.

The City of Vancouver Second Beach pool is an exception, however, as it will stay open a little while longer.
