Pomeranian named ‘Foxy’ stolen from owner in Coquitlam: RCMP

Mounties in Coquitlam are asking the public to keep an eye out for a small dog stolen from its owner last week.

The RCMP says it got word of the Pomeranian, named Foxy, being taken on Aug. 23 around 7 p.m.

According to Mounties, Foxy was with her owner when she was grabbed by an unknown suspect in the area of Brunette Avenue and Bernatchey Street.

“Foxy is well known and loved within her community,” the RCMP said in a news release.

“Coquitlam RCMP would like nothing more than to return Foxy to her family.”

Police have also shared a message from Foxy’s owner: “Foxy was born in my house, she has been with me forever.”

The RCMP has shared an image of a suspect holding Foxy. He is described as having a medium build, short, brown curly hair, and was last seen wearing a black collar shirt, black pants, and black shoes.

Foxy, meanwhile, is described as a beige Pomeranian, approximately 10 years old, and about four pounds in weight. She is “missing a lot of teeth” and has “extra skin on her earlobe.”
