Mounties in Richmond are asking the public for information after a motorcyclist was found with life-threatening injuries last week.
The RCMP says officers were called to the area of Blundell Road and Minoru Boulevard just after 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1 for “reports of a downed motorcyclist.”
When they arrived, investigators say Mounties found a 63-year-old man “some distance away from his blue Honda.”
The man was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital.
An hours-long closure of the area followed, with investigators saying alcohol or speed are not believed to have been factors in the incident.
The RCMP is asking anyone who was in the area between 3:50 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday and who may have seen what happened or who has dash cam footage to contact investigators at 604-278-1212 and quote file number 2023-27770.
Anonymous reports can be made to Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.solvecrime.ca.
