We have a winner! Congratulations to Fernando Doria of Vancouver, who called in within two minutes and is now $6,000 richer!

Meteorologist Michael Kuss missed the mark on Monday’s Guaranteed High.

Fernando says he had just signed up for the contest on Monday morning.

“I was hearing every few minutes that the weather was missed this morning and I said ‘well let me sign up, I’ve got nothing to lose,’ and that was it,” he said, adding he plans to use the money to help pay taxes.

The Escalating Weather Guarantee Jackpot is now back to $1,000. It goes up by $100 each weekday that Michael gets the Guaranteed High right. If he misses by more than 2 degrees Celsius, the jackpot goes up for grabs!
