The Blue Jackets had pre-season questions in goal. Elvis Merzlikins (7-18-2, 4.23 goals-against average, .876 save percentage) and Daniil Tarasov (4-11-1, 3.91 GAA, .892 save percentage) were tops on the depth chart.

The Canucks will kick off their season on Oct. 11 when they host the Edmonton Oilers. You’ll be able to watch the game on Sportsnet and listen on Sportsnet 650.
