Langley pedestrian struck by a vehicle: RCMP

Mounties in Langley say a pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Monday night.
Langley RCMP Staff Sgt. Mark Dunn tells CityNews police were notified about a collision at 202 Street and 64 Avenue at 8:15 p.m.
“We’re still early on in the investigation, we’re still trying to get everything figured out. We wanted to deal with injuries first,” he said.
Dunn says the pedestrian sustained minor injuries but didn’t provide any further details on the matter.
Callers to CityNews say there was a heavy police presence in the area, and described seeing multiple emergency vehicles near the Walmart on 66 Avenue.
They say some nearby roads were closed as emergency crews tended to the situation.
