Police in Whistler search for missing 80-year-old man

Police in Whistler are asking the public for help in finding a missing 80-year-old man who didn’t return home after walking with his dog.

The Sea to Sky RCMP says Robert McKean was last seen on Oct. 9 around 10:20 a.m. at the top of Alpine Way.

Mounties say search and rescue crews searched throughout the night into Tuesday morning for the man.

McKean is described as 5’6″ tall, 130 pounds, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, a baseball cap, blue jeans, and a blue Vancouver Canucks hoodie.
