IHIT deployed to New Westminster

The Intigrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called out to New Westminster, it announced in a post on X just after 9 p.m. Friday.
IHIT spokesperson Sgt. Timothy Pierotti told CityNews there is no ongoing risk to the public.
“I’ve been advised by New West that the scene is all secured,” he said. “There’s no safety risk at this point.”
No further details have been released.
