Pink postpones Vancouver concert dates

Pop superstar Pink has postponed her two Vancouver concert dates due to a respiratory infection.

The singer was supposed to perform in the city on Oct. 20 and 21. However, in a social media post, she confirmed those shows would not be going ahead.

“I am deeply sorry to share that I have a respiratory infection and my doctor has advised that I am unable to perform at the Vancouver shows on Friday and Saturday,” Pink said in a social media post.

“Live Nation is working on new dates to reschedule the shows. I am very much looking forward to performing in Vancouver and putting on an incredible show for everyone. In the meantime, I wish everyone good health and am sending lots of love.”

The postponement of Pink’s Vancouver concerts comes just days after she had to push the dates for her Tacoma, Wash. concerts — set for Oct. 17 and 18 — due to “family medical issues” that required “immediate attention.”

Pink’s Trustfall Tour, announced earlier this year, began in Sacramento on Oct. 12. She followed that up with two concerts in San Francisco on Oct. 14 and 15.

After Vancouver, Pink’s tour is scheduled to head to Denver, Colorado on Oct. 25. It’s unclear if that show will go ahead as planned.
