The man arrested in connection with a crash into the Aldergrove Community Policing Centre that left a woman hurt Sunday is now facing new charges.
Court Services Online shows Kultar Gill is facing charges of criminal negligence causing bodily harm, aggravated assault, and two counts of failure to stop. He appeared in court on Thursday.
This comes after the BC Prosecution Service confirmed Wednesday that Gill was charged with one count of dangerous driving causing bodily harm. The service now tells CityNews that charge was dropped.
Video shared with CityNews appears to show the car, which already had front-end damage, swerving before it crashed into the community police station. The footage also shows a person being dragged outside the driver’s-side door of the vehicle.
Police have not commented on the video, which CityNews is not publishing due to its graphic nature.
The Langley RCMP previously said that the incident may have begun farther east on Fraser Highway, between 268th Street and 276th Street.
They noted that a female passenger was taken to hospital while the driver reportedly tried to run away. He was later arrested.
