Abbotsford Police respond to two calls of shots fired

Police in Abbotsford responded to two separate calls of shots fired early Saturday morning.

According to officers, two separate residences were struck and in both cases, there was evidence of shots fired both inside and outside the homes.

Patrol members responded to a home on McCallum Road near Farmer Road shortly after 3 a.m. The second call came within 10 minutes, this time for a home on Martens Road near Lombard Avenue.

No injuries were reported. Police say early indications suggest the incidents were related and targeted.

Police say they haven’t made any arrests and they ask anyone with any information, including CCTV or dashcam footage near the two homes to call AbbyPD at 604-859-5225.
