Missing senior found dead after multi-day search: police

The multi-day search for an elderly man has ended after he was found dead Saturday, according to Delta police.

David Ho, 86, walked away from his home in Tsawwassen on Nov. 1 and his body was found four days later in Point Roberts.

On Thursday evening, Delta police confirmed Ho had crossed the border using CCTV footage.

“In this difficult time, our hearts go out to David’s family, friends and the compassionate communities of Tsawwassen and Point Roberts who demonstrated extraordinary care and engagement throughout the search for David,” Delta police said in a statement. “The support and kindness have been remarkable.”
