Road closures for Lower Mainland Remembrance Day ceremonies continuing into afternoon

Those driving around the Lower Mainland should anticipate several closures for Remembrance Day ceremonies that extend beyond the two minutes of silence at 11 a.m.
Near Vancouver’s Victory Square, there are full road closures on West Hastings from Abbott to Seymour and on West Pender from Abbott to Homer until 4 p.m.
New Westminster’s Royal Avenue is closed from 3rd St. to 8th St. in both directions until 1 p.m.
In North Vancouver, Lonsdale Avenue is closed from 15th to Keith Road by Victoria Park until 2 p.m.
Nelson Avenue in Burnaby between Bennett and Imperial is closed until 12:30 p.m.
Port Moody’s Clarke Street is closed from Elgin to Moody St.
Finally, Langley is seeing closures in Douglas Crescent from Fuller Lan to 206 Street until noon.
