Langley shooting sends 1 person to hospital: RCMP

One person has been taken to the hospital after a shooting in Langley Tuesday, according to the RCMP.

Mounties say officers were called to the area of 201 Street and 84 Avenue around 7:30 a.m. after shots rang out. When they arrived, the RCMP says officers found one person “suffering from what is believed to be a gunshot wound.”

That person was taken to the hospital, though the extent of their injuries and what condition they are in is not clear at this time.

The RCMP says there does not appear to be any risk to the public.
