Shots fired in residential area of White Rock: RCMP

Shots were fired in a residential neighbourhood of White Rock early Monday morning, though police say no injuries were reported.

The White Rock RCMP says officers received 911 calls reporting shots fired in the area of Marine Drive and Terry Road just after midnight.

When officers arrived, they say they found “evidence consistent with shots being fired.”

They add the shooting appears to be targeted but they are still investigating a motive.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact investigators at 778-545-4800.

This is a developing story. More to come.
