Pedestrian in hospital after Abbotsford collision

Police in Abbotsford say a pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle Thursday.
Just before 4 p.m., police say they responded to the intersection of Ware Street and Farrant Crescent in Abbotsford’s Mill Lake neighborhood.
First responders attended to a 38-year-old female who was later transported to hospital, police say. She remains in critical condition.
The driver was cooperative and remained at the scene, officers add. Impairment is not believed to be a factor.
An investigation is taking place at the scene and police say traffic is being redirected for now.
