Major Crime detectives called in after suspicious death in Ladner

Major Crime detectives were called in after a suspicious death in Ladner Monday afternoon.

Delta police say they were called to a townhouse near 47A Avenue just after 5 p.m. for what crews are calling a “suspicious circumstance involving a deceased woman.”

“Detectives believe there is no risk to the public and can confirm that the death is not related to the BC Gang Conflict,” police posted on X.

There was a heavy police presence in the area for several hours.

Officers were on seen throughout the night to investigate.
