Pedestrian struck near Main Street in Vancouver: BCEHS

One pedestrian is in hospital after being struck near Main Street in Vancouver, according to BC Emergency Health Services.

BCEHS says it received a call at about 5 p.m. Friday, after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near East 16th Avenue and Main Street.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital in stable condition, BCEHS says.

Traffic remained congested at least two hours after the incident, along East 16th Avenue.
