John Cena seen at Port Coquitlam gym

A celebrity who’s famously hard to see is turning heads in Port Coquitlam.
John Cena was spotted working out at a gym in Port Coquitlam Friday, and he was kind enough to stop and pose for a photo with a fan — who happens to be the brother-in-law of the city’s mayor, Brad West.
“When the champ is here, he rolls into the City of Port Coquitlam,” West said on social media. “My bro-in-law grabbed a pic with John Cena during his worker out here in Port Coquitlam.”
Cena, a wrestler with the WWE, has starred in several Hollywood movies, most notably Suicide Squad and F9: The Fast Saga. He has cameo roles in several other features, including 2023’s Barbie. He also stars in the Suicide Squad spinoff show Peacemaker.
It isn’t his first time in the Lower Mainland. He has been spotted in the area many times over the years, and he met his wife Shay Shariatzadeh in Vancouver. They got married in the city in 2020.
