‘Very dangerous’ avalanche conditions expected Sunday

Avalanche Canada says “very dangerous” conditions are expected on Sunday for parts of B.C.
“This would be a time to dial your terrain choices right back and consider avoiding avalanche terrain,” it said.
There’s a high risk of slides in the North Shore mountains and into the Fraser Valley.
Mountains in the Sea to Sky region are currently listed as “considerable” risk.
Avalanche Canada says natural avalanche activity is expected due to fresh snow and high winds.
The agency says to choose more simple terrain in areas with plenty of new snow.
