Chilliwack’s iconic pink car up for auction

A Chilliwack landmark is now up for auction.
The city’s iconic pink car has sat on a platform near the Lickman Road exit off Highway One above the former Pick-A-Part auto wrecker for years.
Beekman Auctions has the 1972 Plymouth Duster on its website with a current bid of $2,750.

The starting bid was at $5 in February.
But if you’re hoping to take it for a spin you’re out of luck — the car has no motor, no transmission, and it sits on a rolling chassis.

Beekman Auctions say it will match any proceeds and donate all the money to Chilliwack Salvation Army.
