Driver arrested after truck seen speeding on three wheels in Coquitlam

The Coquitlam RCMP is looking to track down witnesses after a man was arrested for “dangerous operation of a motor vehicle” on Saturday.
Mounties say they received reports of a black Dodge Ram with one wheel missing speeding on Pinetree Way in Coquitlam around 5:15 a.m. on March 23.
The RCMP says “noticeable noise and sparks may have been associated” with the truck, as it was driving on a rim as it headed north.
According to police, the driver turned east onto Lincoln Avenue until it stopped for Mounties in the area of Pipeline Road and Windsor Gate.
A 26-year-old man was taken into custody.
The Coquitlam RCMP is now asking for anyone who may have seen the vehicle or who may have dashcam footage from the truck’s route around Coquitlam City Centre between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
The RCMP says witnesses can contact investigators at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2024-7266.
