Targeted home invasion, assault suspects arrested: Delta police

Two suspects have been arrested after a targeted home invasion and assault in Delta.

Police say the incident occurred on Saturday at a home on Westham Island.

Thanks to witnesses’ descriptions of the intruders, police say they were able to conduct a high-risk vehicle stop following the break-in, which led to the arrest of two people.

Police add the assault victims were treated for their injuries but did not require immediate hospitalization.

Officers say there’s no further risk to the public, and they’re currently working to determine a motive and whether other people were involved.

The two suspects have since been released, with charges being recommended.
