Victoria police investigate 6th stabbing in 4 weeks

Victoria police are investigating the sixth stabbing in the city in four weeks.

Police say the stabbing occurred just before 10:30 a.m. Monday morning near Douglas and Yates Streets.

Officers say the victim was transported to hospital and no arrests have been made yet.

The investigation remains in its early stages and police say no further details are available.

Of the six stabbings in the past four weeks, two were fatal.
