Surrey RCMP has issued a public notice of a dangerous sex offender moving into the community.
In 2019, Ezaz Razak was convicted of sexually assaulting two women in 2017.
Razak will be released into the community after completing his federal sentence.
Police say he represents a serious and imminent risk to vulnerable women and intimate partners.
Surrey RCMP says Razak is bound by a series of conditions to his release. Those include:
- He cannot consume or possess alcohol, drugs or any intoxicating substances, except with a medical prescription prescribed by a doctor qualified to practice medicine in B.C.
- He must obey a curfew every day between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. each day.
Mounties say Razak will be monitored to ensure compliance with his conditions.
He is described as being 5’10″ and 140 pounds. He has brown eyes and short, dark brown hair.
Police ask anyone who sees or knows of Razak violating the conditions of his release to call 9-1-1 immediately.
