Building fire near Dennison Park in Tsawwassen deemed suspicious: Delta police

A fire in May that destroyed a building used to store athletic gear and equipment in Tsawwassen has been deemed suspicious by investigators.
Delta police say it’s still unclear who was behind the fire, which happened early in the morning on May 17 near Dennison Park.
Investigators are now pleading with anyone who may have seen something suspicious or who may have video of the area to come forward.
“We ask anyone with video footage from security cameras, dash cams, or mobile devices between 3 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on May 17th near Dennison Park, to share your video with our investigative team,” police said in a release Wednesday, June 5.
Police add “cooperation is vital” in determining both the cause of the fire and whoever may have been responsible.
