Crews locate body of missing boater involved in accident in Mission

A search for a missing man involved in a boating accident has ended in tragedy.
The Mission RCMP says it has located the body of the 37-year-old man that went missing after a boating accident in the Nicomen Slough just before 6:30 Friday evening.
Mounties say two men were out in a small, flat-bottom aluminum boat and were reportedly doing donuts on the water when they hit their own wake.
That caused the men to be launched from the boat.
Police say one made it to shore, but the other did not.
An extensive search was conducted around the area before the man’s body was located Saturday.
